Level III Pedagogy Overview

The Kodály Level III Pedagogy Kaleidoscope will present the pedagogical sequence for discovery learning of musical elements, including mixed and irregular meters, altered pitches, chromaticism and modes. Music materials include American folk songs, rounds, singing games, multicultural music, and classical music. Material is designed for grades 4-6 in the American-Hungarian model, or secondary school to university level music classes.

*Presented materials are taken from required textbooks for the full three-week levels training. Seminar packets will include samples of these materials.
